I became a State Farm agent in 2019, and I’m proud to be here serving my hometown of Pine Bluff, AR, and the surrounding areas—including White Hall, Redfield, Rison and Sheridan. I have called Pine Bluff my home for over 35 years. I love this town and the people that make it up. My path to becoming a State Farm agent has been a roundabout one. I earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia. I was working as a railroad yardmaster when industry job cuts sent me in a new direction. I welcomed the challenge of reinventing myself, though—I’ve never shied away from hard work, and I love helping people, so insurance was a natural fit for me. On a personal note, I’ve been married to a nurse practitioner for 17 years, and we share our love with a wonderful eight-year-old daughter. I also have a farm where I raise Texas Longhorn cattle.
